About the Owners: Chuck & Lisa Weaver
Our first time making meals for the month took hours of shopping, hours of prep and all day (really 12 hours) in the kitchen. We were thrilled to have the meals in our freezer, but there had to be an easier way to do it! I started inviting friends to join in the fun and soon we had regular cooking parties where we made meals for the month. I knew it could be a business since we all had different family sizes. And, we had so much fun doing it together.
As I searched for a franchise, I realized that I wanted to open independently so I could provide fresh, healthy meals with large portions and side dishes. My customers drive the menu selections and other changes in the store.
Touch of Gourmet was born 6 months after our third child, Brandon. His older brothers, Blair and Bradley helped as we prepared to open in February, 2007. This store stands for the values used to create it - more time together with your family at the dinner table eating healthy meals that taste great and everyone will enjoy.
About the Business
Touch of Gourmet is a meal prep kitchen. What does this mean? It means we take care of the menu planning, shopping for ingredients, and cleanup.
You enjoy picking your favorite recipes, assemble the meals at our store and take them home to freeze and cook when it's convenient for you while having fun putting together a month's worth of meals to enjoy with your family at home.
